Ideas

Pupils generate ideas for decorating their sculptures and develop the best one. They bring personal objects, pictures and photos to stick onto their models. Pupils are also encouraged to explore their drawing, painting and graphics skills.

Over the last few years pupils have been encouraged to build increasingly larger and more complex sculptures. 

With care and persistence, cling film can be made to adhere to damp clay at any angle, and long strips of paper coated with thick PVA can be made to stick to the underside of objects.
