Decorating

Let the paper mache model dry. If the paper mache has become dirty

or stained, prime the surface with a coat of white emulsion.

Use any medium or technique to decorate the sculpture.

If using acrylics, I advise applying a coloured base coat followed by light and dark tones of the same colour to enhance and define the form of the object - lighter tones through to white on raised areas, darker tones through to black on sunken areas.

Collage
Make sure photos are laser-printed rather than ink-jetted. Coat the reverse well in PVA and apply.
